Poll Everywhere 2.0 Word Cloude and Q&A Response Failure
Resolved - We received reports that participants responding to World Cloud and Q&A questions in Poll Everywhere 2.0 would occasionally receive errors when responding to questions multiple times. We've tracked down this issue to a change made on July 14th, and released a fix this morning.

Increase in errors
Resolved - From 3:52am PT to 5:08 PT, elevated error rates occurred on Poll Everywhere 2.0, with 0.007% of requests failing with 500 internal server errors. We're working on a long-term fix but the initial impact has subsided.

Scheduled - Our third-party datacenter, Vultr, will be performing emergency maintenance on certain systems in our datacenter during the maintenance window. Poll Everywhere 2.0 is an application that is resilient to maintenance events like this. Out of an abundance of caution, however, and given the scope of the work, temporary interruptions of access to Poll Everywhere 2.0 may occur for 1-2 minutes during the maintenance window. We believe the impact to Poll Everywhere 2.0 to be tightly constrained to a 1-2 minute period of downtime in the maintenance window.

Update - The incident has been updated to include Denmark as well as some other international numbers.

As a workaround, you can go to Profile -> International text messaging -> Coverage area to rotate to either US / Canada.

Update - We have disabled the Denmark SMS number and failed over to the Germany phone number while the Denmark number is not working.

Identified - We have identified that Denmark numbers are not working for SMS. We have contacted our SMS provider and are in the process of resolving this issue.

As a workaround, you can go to Profile -> International text messaging -> Coverage area to rotate to a different number.
